Who do you work with?

I work predominantly with adults, teens, and children 8+, who are looking for lasting recovery from trauma related disorders, depression, anxiety, dissociation, anger issues, phobias, and other challenges that may be born from traumatic experiences.

Do you do telehealth?

I do telehealth session for those who live an hour or greater away, for inclement weather, or mild sickness. Hybrid sessions are available if transportation is an issue. Law requires that you must be in the State of Connecticut for appointments.

How often do we meet?

We typically meet once a week to ensure consistent progress and quality care. In some cases, I may recommend meeting twice a week if clinically appropriate. I continue seeing clients weekly until treatment goals are met. My aim is to support your independence so that, in time, therapy is no longer needed.

How long does it take?

Sessions are about 53 minutes. I find that many people can complete treatment within 12 months. Complex presentations can take much longer. Every situation is different and every person unique, so it can be difficult to provide a concrete estimate.

What is the bardo?

In Tibetan Buddhism the bardo is the transformational state of existence between death and rebirth. The Therapy Bardo is transformational space between an individual’s life before and after they complete psychotherapy. The transformational holding space that leads an individual to reflect, heal, and grow.
